Fall Equinox Mala Making Workshop in Grants Pass, Oregon

SOLD OUT!

Baja Malas on the road again…. this time in Southern Oregon. Please join us for a special Fall Equinox Mala Making Workshop where we will use red creek jasper, semi-precious gemstones to create our personal 108 bead, hand-knotted mala. The Autumn Equinox ushers in a season of abundance, harvest, brilliant color, and warm festivities that embrace our ancestors, family, and gratitude. The equinox is a day where day and night are at equal lengths.

We start the workshop learning about the history & significance of meditation malas, then infuse our intentions, prayers & energy for the new season into each knot we create. We keep the energy light and the learning simple so that everyone feels welcome.

For this unique workshop, we have chosen red creek jasper for both its rich colors and energetic properties. This jasper possesses the beautiful colors of autumn with burnt red, deep golden yellow, muted olive green & soft earthy tan as well as being a stone that promotes balance and relaxation, and like all jaspers, is a stone of protection and grounding.

Cost: $54/person. Includes all materials and group & individual instruction. Pre-registration required as space is limited.

Location: Wise Roots Yoga & Wellness Center, 143 NW E Street, Grants Pass, Oregon. 97526
