Can you imagine a more beautiful combination than pairing a sweet yin yoga practice with making a mala overlooking the magnificent Sea of Cortez? For this special event, Baja Malas is joining Casa Tara Hotel & Retreat in El Sargento to offer a truly meaningful and meditative experience.

For the first portion of the class, you will learn about the significance of malas as you are gently guided into different yin asanas by our yoga teacher, Ruben Lamas. You will then be invited to set your intentions for your mala as you settle into a yin state of mind & your final yin poses. Once you are in a pure state of bliss & relaxation, you will spend time hand-knotting your own 108 bead mala necklace overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

We will be using beads also inspired by Casa Tara & the Sea of Cortez: white turquoise, blue-green sea sediment jasper, and wood grain jasper, semi-precious gemstones. Yogis & non-yogis welcome.
