Some Sal y Sol Love

Spanish lesson for today: sal = salt; y = and; sol = sun

Last month I had the pleasure of leading an intimate workshop at the new & beautiful space of Sal y Sol in Pescadero, BCS where you will find plenty of SALT(water) and SUNshine.

Also from Palos Verdes, Janet & Brent invited me to lead a workshop at the yoga & fitness studio located at their boutique hotel and home where I had the great joy of having my daughter, Hannah, co-lead the workshop with me.

Each Baja Malas workshop takes on its own vibe created by the collective energy of my guests. Sometimes a large group can be filled with high energy and during others, everyone is quiet and contemplative. A smaller gathering like the one at Sal y Sol created the opportunity to get to know each other and learn from each other. This intimate environment lends itself beautifully to sharing and I’m always in awe of everyone’s personal story. Hearing about my guests’ lives, work & family, I’m reminded that we are all on a journey and have a beautiful story to tell.

It’s not often that everyone at a workshop finishes their mala at the same time, allowing us to take a group picture with everyone’s finish mala. So this photo is extra special!
