For the first time, Baja Malas is partnering with the beautiful new boutique resort & yoga studio, El Suelo at Sal y Sol in El Pescadero, Baja California Sur to bring you a Mala Making & Art Meditation Workshop overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

We will gather to first learn about about the history & significance of meditation malas, then hand-knot our personal 108 bead mala, OR an 18 bead wrist mala, infused with all of your love, energy & intentions. We keep the energy light & the learning simple so that everyone feels welcome. A mala necklace also makes a truly beautiful gift for someone special in your life, too.

For this art meditation workshop, we will be using beads inspired by Baja Sur: aqua terra jasper, semi-precious gemstones. Aqua Terra Jasper, also known as impression jasper or sea sediment jasper means Water-Earth, and is a wonderful stone for helping one find inner peace, clarity, love and compassion. Like all jaspers, It is an excellent stone for emotional healing, as it provides protection, absorbs negative energy, balances yin and yang and aligns the physical, emotional and mental bodies.
